QUEER CLAY CLUB

  • What is QCC?

Queer clay club is a regularly scheduled time to come into the studio and experiment with clay. The vibe is casual with chill music. There will be an instructor led project, or you can make something of your own design.

  • How much does it cost?

Attendance is priced based on a sliding scale model. Paying $25 covers the cost for yourself. Paying $35 provides additional support for other patrons who may not be able to pay. Everyone is welcome, even if they do not pay at all.

  • Will I get to take home my work?

All of the projects will be recycled at the end of the evening. If you’d like to fire your work there will be a $15 fee to cover firing costs. QCC is more about the process of making art in community, but if you’re really attached to your project it can likely be fired!

  • Do I need experience?

No! All of the projects are beginner friendly! You don’t need to bring anything except yourself. Please wear easily washable clothing.

  • What ages is this for?

Queer Clay Club is for adults (18+). There will be specific opportunities for children and teens to participate, as marked on the event info.

  • Am I queer enough?

Yes. For sure. Most definitely. Even if you’re not sure. Even if you’re not “out”. You are welcome here.
